Our Vision

We strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where marginalized individuals can thrive, focusing on leadership development and comprehensive support for undocumented immigrants, African Americans, and those living with HIV and AIDS.

Mila Hellfyre is the Vice President of the Equality Empower Center and a dedicated advocate for LGBTQ+ rights, community empowerment, and stigma reduction. With years of leadership experience in grassroots movements and nonprofit development, Mila has worked tirelessly to expand access to resources, strengthen community resilience, and ensure that every individual, regardless of gender identity or expression, has the opportunity to thrive.

At Equality Empower Center, Mila leads strategic initiatives focused on education, advocacy, and community engagement. Her work centers on dismantling systemic barriers, promoting inclusive policies, and creating safe spaces where LGBTQ+ individuals can access support, leadership development, and pathways to economic and social empowerment.

William Campos – President

William Campos serves as President of Equality Empowerment Center and is a gender non-conforming leader with a background in Business Administration from Florida International University (FIU). He has built strong trust and respect throughout Miami-Dade County through his authentic, community-centered leadership.

Specializing in HIV testing, prevention, and outreach, William works collaboratively with local organizations to expand access to health services and empower marginalized LGBTQ+ communities. His leadership is grounded in lived experience, advocacy, and a deep commitment to advancing health equity, dignity, and opportunity for all.
